Dr. Smith has tele-therapy appointments at both office locations.

Tele-therapy appointments done by phone or computer minimize the risk of Covid-19 exposure. However there are minimal risks to information privacy given the security of the means of communication used by each client.

Dr. Smith offers limited in-person therapy appointments in Rockaway Park.  

 

The physical layout of the Rockaway Park office allows Dr. Smith to accommodate in-person therapy appointments. There are three windows on two exterior walls providing excellent ventilation, six feet between doctor - client seating providing social distancing, and has ongoing UVC air sanitization.  Seating and surfaces are wiped clean with disinfectant between every client.  Dr. Smith gets regularly tested for Covid-19 for everyone's health and safety.

Having taken all the above precautions, there are no guarantees in regards to Covid-19 transmission.  When deciding between an in-person versus a tele-therapy appointment, please consider your personal health status and comfort level with the risks associated with each type of encounter.
